Slice of Fire is a local pizzeria. As their current marketing manager
my role includes to create a brand identity, build their website,
create printed materials and manage their social media accounts.
Kratos Detroıt Style Pızza
Another local business that I was responsible from their logo to pizza boxes, photography to webdesign.
Şıfalı Aktar - Healing Herbalist
Şifalı Aktar means Healing Herbalist in Turkish. I designed their logo, storefront signage, window signage, business cards, various packaging solutions.
Herb Master
Herb Master is a wholesaler of herbs, aromatic oils and tinctures since 1912 for
four generations. My job was to design a logo and a mark.
Design
Birds of Vancouver
Birds of Vancouver is a series of books are devoted to Vancouver's 12 common local birds.
My intention was to create an empathy with birds, enable children to explore nature and involve parents in reading process to provide guidance and comfort in an age of Nintendos and Play Stations, where children lost their connection with nature.
As interaction elements I included maps and possible locations of viewing the birds; illustrated each species; and designed cards that can be taken out to identify the birds.
Birds of Vancouver won an Applied Arts Magazine Student Award in print category
as well as an honorable mention in GDC Salazar Awards, 2010.
Gaia- A Guide to Nature
Gaia is an exhibition design of paper forms inspired by nature and a compilation of open source templates for designers and anyone who has an appreciation for science.
Name inspired from Greek Mythology, Gaia is the ancestral mother of all life:
The primal Mother Earth goddess.
Nature has countless forms that can be a source of inspiration, innovation and ideas.
I believe Communication Design practice can benefit from the application of natural forms.
This project was an opportunity for me to break free from the bookshelf, and expand my practice into exhibition and experience design.
In 2010 Gaia got accepted to participate in IDS West: Future Masters in Convention Center, Vancouver between 14th and 17th of October.
Metropole
Movie Poster
A visual exploration of the daily activities of life in the city over one 24 hour period, as experienced by persons from across the social spectrum. Metropole uses no dialogue, only images, sounds and music to express the everyday moments of a unique, yet familiar reality.

About Me
Hi! My name is Pinar Undeger. Thank you for being here!
I completed my Bachelor of Design in Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2006. After moving to Vancouver Canada, I achieved my second major in Communication Design in Emily Carr Art + Design University, Vancouver, BC, 2010.
My main interest in design is in typography and print medium,
on the other hand my portfolio carries a variety of projects
from identity, packaging, exhibition, book and magazine designs as well as illustrations. My advanced software skills cover
Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro and Web Design.
My work got recognized by Applied Arts Magazine in 2010 Student Awards, by IDS West: Future Masters and by GDC
in 2010 Salazar Awards.
As an Affiliate Member of RGD, I continue to work freelance and contract for several companies as well as fellow designers and
